Dr. Rai Niaz Ahmad, is an Ex. Vice Chancellor, Arid Agriculture University, Rawalpindi, Pakistan. Presently, he is working as “Professor Emeritus” in the University of Agriculture Faisalabad. He carries a distinguished career in the Field of Agricultural and Bio-system Engineering. He completed his higher studies from the Iowa State University USA whereas post-doctorate studies from Kyoto and Tottori Universities, Japan. He is author of 90 plus research publications, and five books. He has received an Award from the International Commission on Irrigation and Drainage (ICID) as well as the Pakistan President Award of Technology. He completed a good number of Research Projects along with international researchers funded by the international organizations.
